Vance and Kari Massengill

Vance and Kari Massengill met and married while attending Lee University in 1996. After graduation in 1996, they served in China for 5 years. During this time, they both completed master’s degrees. Vance earned his in intercultural studies (missions) from Wheaton College, while Kari earned hers in TESOL from Azusa Pacific University. In May 2015, Vance finished a doctoral degree in intercultural studies from the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary in Springfield, Missouri, USA. This made Vance one of only a handful of people in the world with three degrees in intercultural studies. “The heart of the Great Commission is not merely about lost people, but about providing the whole world with access to the Gospel. Eighty percent of the unreached people in the world live in the Middle East and North Africa. Only by bringing the message of Christ to the unreached nations of the world can we finally complete the task given by Christ to His church two millennia ago.”
