Sabrina Evans began to feel called to missions as a student at Lee University. While there, she participated in short-term trips to Australia, Ukraine, and China. This burden is what led her to pursue a Master’s degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. Eventually, this degree opened the door for another short-term trip to Prague, Czech Republic, in 2003. What was intended to be a five-week trip, turned into five years of service as part of a church-planting team in the most atheistic capital city in Europe —Prague. After five years of teaching university students, discipling new believers, and mentoring future leaders, Sabrina saw the need to further equip herself for ministry. In 2008, she returned to the States to study counseling at the Church of God Theological Seminary. With these new skills in hand, Sabrina returned once again to Prague in January 2012. In addition to working with the local church there, she serves as a training resource person for the entire Central European region, where Christian counselors are sparse.
